Temporary Office Space

This is a crosspost to my article by the same name on WritingUp. I have made this crosspost because the WritingUp posting has a glitch from a computer system that can not locate the url at WritingUp. I have tried to correct this problem several times, all to no avail, so this is the best solution I can come up with.

Okay, this is a very kewl idea that I had heard about before. When I heard of renting pre-furnished office space for short term needs a while back, my first thought was how cool it would be to be able to visit another city or state and have your own personal writer's retreat office while you are there.

Imagine the possiblities.

  • You could use it as a place to meet agents
  • Interview people that you need to for a book.
  • Just rent office space in your home city for one month and go to the office each day and spend eight hours a day working for yourself to get that novel you always wanted to write written or revised.
  • Have somewhere that you can lay out the proofs when they are sent back and not have to pick them up off the dining room table whenever the family has to eat.

The possibilities and uses are almost endless. If this sounds like something you might want to check into check out http://www.offices2share.com.

I hope this works. I had suggested it, but never received feedback on the solution for the problematic link.
