Digital cameras

Being a writer means finding inspiration in all kinds of places. One of my most valuable tools is my digital camera. I use it to capture images of places such as a street or a secluded mountain meadow or a room that I like, then I can later refer to the picture on my computer (or print it out for my files) and recapture the essence and feel of the place. This lets me study it and recall details about why I wanted to include it in a piece of work.

When shopping around you should take a look at the wide range of Digital Cameras from PC World. Cameras such as the super-slim 6MP DSC-T9 from Sony, or the Vivitar Vivicam with a 3x Optical Zoom
or 2x Digital Zoom. A convenient way to get your pictures fast is the Kodak C340 + Printer Dock which offers 13 scene modes and 3 color modes as well as having TV-quality video with audio.

For travel writing it is invaluable to be able to take pictures of a location that you are writing about so you can remember the finer details of the area. Or you can take pictures of the books you have written to display on your website. Imagine having a stack of your own novels with the spines being links to the pages about each novel. And better yet - get instant results on a myriad of author pictures until you have just the perfect picture to go in the dust jacket of your best seller.
