About the Disclosure Policy

A Writer's Life is adopting a disclosure policy. Those who read my blogs know that A Writer's Life, as with some of my other blogs, provides me with a small amount of income through the placement of posts that I have been paid for. These posts and the companies/sites/services that they link to are carefully screened by me to assure quality of the information that my readership will find and to assure that the links lead to sites/products/services that my readership may be genuinely interested in discovering more about.

My disclosure policy, generated through the Disclosure Policy Generator at DisclosurePolicy.org, tries to explain for my readership just what my policy is when it comes to the content of my blog. I feel that it is in the best interst of the bloggers and their readers for every blogger to adopt a disclosure policy, rather through DisclosurePolicy.org or through their own work to write one or, as I have done, through a combination of both.
