I'm floundering in the wake of the drawing close of NaNoWriMo and looking at this as the year that I will not make my goal. I've just had too much else on my plate to get the story work done, but I will compile what story stuff I have and see how much it is. What's that they say on Galaxy Quest? "Never Give Up, Never Surrender"?
Onward I type, knowing that I have far and beyond surpassed my typing requirements rather I finished NaNo as well or not. There are, after all, more imoportant things than that, such as making money to help pay for th $20 to $40 a day in heating fuel we're using - right?
Anyway - I'll let you all know in a few days how I did on that. I feel happy rather I hit 50,000 words this month or not though. I hit at least over 30,000 and have a strong backdrop for a story that just needs a plot. LOL
