My secret - Writing is work

My secret to getting my work done is to see it as work. I know that sounds a little counter-productive, since most people see or hear the word "work" and cringe, but I have few options for making a living and my biggest resource is in my skills as a writer, so if I let myself see it as just play I will let myself slack off when I don't feel like writing and as a result - I'll never make any money.
