I've been working on Heir again, finally found the muse. It was hiding under a pile of old notes. I've been making more notes, so far 2.5 pages of handwritten notes in a large legal pad. Getting things outlined for chapter 18 so I can start work on it and know where I am headed.
I think I may get along better on writing if I outline a chapter at a time, since it allows the characters to take off wherever they get the notion to and not mess up all my planning. As long as they end up in the place I want them to be at the end of the novel I guess it's okay, they often prove to be smarter than me anyway.
