Voice recognition software is nice, now to get a writing tablet too

I am definitely liking the microphone and voice recognition software that I have on this new computer. I've been writing about 50% of my blog posts using the microphone, and so far all of the writing I have done on my novel has been done using the microphone rather than typing it in.

My wrists and fingers are not hurting nearly as much after I started using the voice recognition software, and I am hoping that when I can afford to get a stylus and tablet I will be able to be much more prolific in my writing without having to go back and correct the typos that the voice recognition software leaves in what I have written. I have always been faster at writing longhand than typing or trying to explain in words what it is that I am trying to convey, so hopefully when I am able to use a stylus to enter text longhand I will be able to improve my speed that much more over what I have already improved it with a voice recognition software.

I hope so I've always had a problem with having more ideas for stories than time to get it all typed into the computer. By the time I get a chance to type an idea up I have forgot most of it. Maybe through a combination of being able to dictate what it is that I want the computer to print, and being able to write my ideas up longhand, I will actually be able to gain more speed in getting my thoughts onto paper (and thereby save more of them from forgetfulness). I, of course, will obviously still need assistance with proper grammar and punctuation, thankfully I have a couple of friends that knows that I am a hopeless loss for both of those and will, I hope, be very kind and help me. :::bats eyes at V and R:::
