I am very very excited, I got a voice recognition program on this computer. That means I was able to sit and dictate most of this post to my computer, only having to go back and add in minor typographical fixes and punctuation.
This is going to open up all kinds of possibilities and make it much much easier for me to get my writing into the computer. I am, and always have been, a much better storyteller when I am explaining the story to someone else rather than trying to type it out as I am thinking about it. This way I can speak in actual sentences and the computer will pick it up and print it onto the screen for me. I have a Secretary. LOL (it even knows LOL)
I love this program. I still need to train it, and I do have to figure out how to avoid having to go back in and add punctuation, but I love it.
If nothing else this program will allow me to stop having so much pain in my fingers and wrists from typing all day long. That alone is worth having to go back and correct the errors.
I've obviously never had a chance to play with voice recognition software before. I'm going to like it.
