I have decided that I am going to start posting samples of my writing on the A Writer's Life blog over on my main site. Some of it will be intended for submission to article distribution websites, some will be for my own websites.
The purpose is to show my writing off and get feedback on it, to help me improve as a writer. Please, feel free to offer criticism and feedback, I have a fairly thick skin and it is hard to improve my writing if I am not told what needs to be improved.
My sample writing will include both fiction and non-fiction with rough drafts (stories and articles that are published here just as they look when I finish writing them before I go back and reread them), and first drafts (those I have reread and altered to make read more smoothly or fixed the facts in), and finished articles (those I am sending to article distributors and e-zines and my websites).
I know my grammar sucks, and I know I could not put punctuation in the right position with a shot gun. Neither have ever been my strong point. Thankfully I have a wonderful friend that helps me out on that sort of thing when I have something I want to send off to a publisher and need to have editing assistance. Even so, any and all feedback is welcomed.
