If you have to ask you can't afford it....

I was cruising around looking at websites for writers earlier and came across one called Writing for Money - it is a subscription based site that I decided to pass on when they refused to tell me just how much it is they want to charge me for information.

Why not tell the subscribers how much a subscription will cost them? Seems to me like it would be good business practice to at least let them know on the sign-up form how much it costs, but nowhere is there any indication of what a subscription will cost.

Brings to mind the old saying "If you have to ask how much it is, then you can't afford it." I moved on looking at other sites.
