Office walls too blue for ceiling?

I painted the walls in my office, but as I kick back and study the soft blue tone I am made aware of the fact that I also need to paint the ceiling. I'll have to come up with a good color, but the dark eggshell that it is now just does not fit in with the sky blue color of the walls. Trouble is, what color *does* go with sky blue walls?

Maybe I should consider repainting the walls in here when I paint the front room this summer. Blue seemed like such a good idea, but I think it would be a much better color for a bedroom than for an office and now that this room no longer serves a dual purpose of bedroom and office the blue just don't look right. Maybe a dark cream tone? Or perhaps do a faux wood paneling effect on the walls?

I like the thought of wood, although as a fantasy writer I wonder how it would look to go with something that looks a little more like the inside of castle walls? That might be something to consider. I do have an old template set around here for creating false stone and brick work. Maybe create a few areas that look like there is stone showing through the walls? LOL

I would like to create an effect of being surrounded by the world of my novel. Kind of get into the settings and feel like I am sitting in the dark passages of the palaces and dungeons I write about. The only trick then is getting the poor old abused laptop to not go down and error on me losing half a day's work. LOL That's why I have this pretty though, huh? It's better behaved than the laptop that keeps refusing to turn on, has a busted keyboard and shuts off without permission at random points. Very frustrating at times. Makes me want to beat on it, but I do love it.
