Here's another challenge to get your muses going, since mine are being so productive today.
Suppose your hero, or maybe another character, not everything has to revolve around the hero after all. How about the stable boy that always cares for the hero's horse? The stable boy gets a mysterious box, maybe he found it somewhere or maybe someone gave it to him.
What should he do with it? What does he do with it? (not always the same as what he should do with it.) If he opens it, what does he find inside? If he does not open it, might someone else take it and open it?
