My highlighting is going good. It's letting me narrow down what I liked about Shadowlord's Gambit and determine what to keep when I go back through and revise it as I enter it into the computer. Large passages are few and very far between, so it's not a lot of waste on the highlighter. There are definitely a few passages that I want to keep as they were first written when I do the second draft though, so this is a great way to highlight them (literally) and I wish I had broke down and done it months ago. This is the only version of this novel I have though, so I had been uneasy about marking it up.
