Involuntary crimes of love

Basic Synopsis: This is a very powerful story plot when done properly. It is the situation that would arise when young lovers feelings for one another are thrown into turmoil by the revelation that they were, in truth, related. Perhaps a case where the "boy next door" that has become a summer crush is revealed to be a girl's older brother who was given up to a neighbor when the girl's mother was too young to raise a child of her own. The theme for the involuntary crimes of love plot is an accidental incestuous situation where the characters may or may not have acted upon their attractions for one another before the third character type, the revealer, has had a chance to tell one or both of them the truth about their past.
