Basic Synopsis: In this plot the hero is willing to give up something dear or even place himself in harm's way for the sake of their ideals. This might be a case of someone that is ready to sacrifice their life for their faith, country, or to benefit their people. It might also be a situation where a prince must give up the woman he loves to enter into an arranged marriage to a stranger because the union would be the best thing for the people of his kingdom.
