Victim, a relative of both
Basic Synopsis: The guilty kinsman has done something against their own kin and that crime is avenged by the avenging kinsman. An example might be a story where a man murdered his sister and their brother went after the killer. A remembrance of the victim is often a part of the story and may come at the end where the avenging kinsman visits the victim's gravesite or equally symbolic moment of closure.
