I did a little more poking around and found some more stuff for helping with outlining novels.
First we have to pay a visit to Holly Lisle's website and see what she says about Creating the Professional Plot Outline. I have been returning to Holly's site again and again in my quest to be just like her when I grow up and I highly recommend any of the books on writing that she has in her shop, I've bought several of them and although I am too scatter brained to be published yet they are good guides and well worth the price I have paid for the ones I have bought. Check out this guide to outlining to see just a sample of the great information you can find at her website.
Next we pay a visit to writing.com where they have a Blank Novel Outline available for you to fill in and take off with. It is written by someone that adapted it from the Writer's Digest Novel Workshop so very much worth checking out if you are wondering what goes into an outline.
Next we have a new site for me, I have not read the whole article yet, but you have to visit Advanced Fiction Writing's How to Write a Novel: The Snowflake Method if for no other reason than for his link to The Koch Snowflake. It's very kewl to watch them little triangles make a snowflake. I'm going to go back and read his article on outlining, afraid I wasted what time I have now making snowflake after snowflake after snowflake... O:-) Beware the addiction. ::snicker::
Okay, I'm out of time, those should keep you busy for a while and I will hunt up more stuff later, promise. I'm having fun finding things on outlining novels. :-D
