Muse Fodder

As my first offering to you all for muse fodder - how about a Halloween themed idea? A costume.

Maybe you can start your story out with trick-or-treaters or at a magnificent costume ball? What about a little girl playing dress up? Or two boys that found some soldier grease paint in a box in the garage and are putting on soldier faces? Maybe the villain in your story is wearing a costume when they commit their crime?

Other ideas could be someone finding a part of a costume, maybe a doctor wearing a clown nose to make a child smile during a physical? Anything to do with a costume is fair game and there are millions of ways you can work this into something to help you start off your novel. So, go for it and happy typing!
