Truck bed liners

My dad has an old Ford pickup, we've had that truck for about 30 years now and it has seen more than its share of hauling firewood and trash and lumber and horses and hay and goats and boxes for moving and engines and everything else that you could imagine being loaded into an old pickup.

After all that time and all that stuff the truck's bed has seen better days, which has my brother wanting to install a truck bedliner into it. My parents aren't so sure about that given the age of the truck (and neither am I), but bedliners are a good idea for newer truck with a bed that is looking like it belongs in an older truck.

BuyAutoTruckAccessories.com has STK Line-A-Bed Bedliners, which deliver bed protection with skid resistant technology. These are “drop in” truck bed liners that are designed for a perfect fit. Made with durable, high density polyethylene they will last a long time. You can find out more about STK Line-A-Bed Bedliners by visiting BuyAutoTruckAccessories.com at the link above.

I don't think that a drop in bedliner is the answer in this situation. For starters they allow debres and water to get trapped beneath and corrode the bed even more. Also they last a long time? How long is that exactly they say that as an incentive for you to buy the bedliner but it sounds to me like you actually put that truck through a lot of work and abuse. I would definatly look into a spray in liner, maybe one that has a lifetime warranty and one that will guarantee the protection of your bed. Just food for thought.
