Get scrappy about your novel world

Get a scrap book and fill it with pictures of locations. Go through magazines and look around the Internet and collect photographs of locations that you want to use in your novel, then create scrap book pages for each of the locations. You can add in information on the location, such as historical details or population information. Maybe create a page showing what the church in your novel looks like and include details such as the hierarchy in the church or what deity is worshiped.
