Guess I didn't have enough to do

I have been taking care of my nephew's dogs for the winter, and one of them decided that she needs a litter of puppies. So, after a week of feeling more than a little under the weather I've been a little busy the past couple of days trying to make sure that the poor little runt of the litter has a chance. Only about a fourth the size of his litter mates, the fellow keeps getting shoved out into the cold away from the others and I keep finding him chilled and hungry. He is very underfed and if I can keep him going until tomorrow when I can get to town, then I plan to see if I can get some puppy supplement that I can give him to help him. He is definitely a fighter though, so I am still hoping that he'll make it despite how tough the world seems to be treating him so far.
