Alaska Yard and Garden

I have decided that I will kick off Alaska Yard and Garden today with a post about the start this morning of the 36th running of the Iditarod Sled Dog Race. The Iditarod is a true Alaskan outdoor experience, so it just seems like the perfect way to kick start my website on Alaskan outdoor living. The site is not much yet, still having the basic WordPress template on it, but you are welcome to stop by and check it out, watch what I get it evolved into. The blog will actually be secondary to the information on outdoor living in Alaska that will include information on how to maintain gardens and build outdoor areas in cold climates.
