Looking for some good writer's workshops in the New York area? There is a lot to choose from.
The Writer's Studio is a non-degree granting writing studio in Greenwich Village New York that offers four 10-week sessions. They encourage their students to "try on voices" as a means of helping them to discover their own personal voice. In addition to their New York program, The Writing Studio offers online, Tuscan and San Francisco programs.
Odyssey - Held at the Saint Anselm College campus, Odyssey is one of the most highly respected workshops for writers of fantasy, science fiction, and horror. Enrollment for the nest workshops ends on April 10th with the workshops being June 9 through July 18, 2008.
