You want me to what?

I've been challenged to duel to write a novel, one chapter at a time. Not too sure I can find the time to work writing another novel into things, but I intend to take the challenge up and see what I can do to get the chapter written. I really have no idea what I will be writing about, which I guess would be a good place to start out on this duel.

The way it works is that one of my friends challenged me and another of our friends to produce a chapter a month on a novel. She did not say how long it had to be, just that it was to be the first chapter of a novel and that we were to offer up the next chapter each month until we had shared a full novel.

I'm so doomed.
