Investing for the future

I have determined that I probably am not going to end up signing a multi-million dollar book contract any time soon. As much as I would love to, I currently foresee myself working as a writer scratching by doing articles and copywriting while I work slowly on the novel I want to write. This means I need to find something a bit more reliable than a book publisher falling madly in love with my novel if I want to have a future retirement fund. It is a realization that lead me to look at investing.

I have determined that one of my business goals is to reach the point where I can make investments such as options trading within the next five years. That means that I need to start learning more and more about the market. Thankfully there are sites such as the internet-based PowerOptions® that can help me sort through and analyze optionable stocks and options online. Their SmartSearchXL® helps to identify the highest return option trades, so when I am ready (hopefully by the end of the summer) to dedicate some serious time to getting started with options trading I can use their 14 day free trial to get myself oriented and hopefully will be able to afford to make a few investments even.
