Medical reference software

I've had a desire to get a PDA for a long time, even tried getting me one but it ended up not to work right. It won't sync with my computer. Very disappointing, but still, it works as a date book so I have been getting some use out of it.

I need to get me a good PDA that will sync with my computer, however, because I want to be able to work on my novel on it and it would be perfect for keeping my dad's medical information on when I need to take him to the doctor. And with the medical reference software that Epocrates has for doctors to check on conflicts between new prescriptions and medications that their patients are currently taking, I could use the PDA to keep track of any new medications that my dad was prescribed.

I have caught several conflicting medications in the past, so that is something that is always of importance to me, and having something that could make that even easier, and faster, would be a wonderful resource.
