Hal Spacejock No Free Lunch wins the WASFF 'Tin Duck'

I was looking at my blog dashboard this morning, and noticed an update to one of the blogs I follow. Simon Haynes posted that one of his books won the WASFF 'Tin Duck'. For them that don't know, Simon Haynes is the man behind the Hal Spacejock Series and Spacejock Software (stuff like yWriter, my personal favorite writing program).

The award is the WASFF 'Tin Duck' award for best professional long work for his book Hal Spacejock No Free Lunch.

Congratulations Simon!

He has a lovely picture of the award over on his blog The Hal Spacejock Series, last year Hal Spacejock Just Desserts was the Tin Duck award recipient.

Check out the Hal Spacejock Series blog (linked above) for more details and what else is going on, but be warned, he's on twitter now, so the blog seems to be updated on a semi erratic schedule.
