Hip Troubles and Recalled Items

I have had bad joints in my hips and knees since I was a young woman. I can clearly recall a day in my early twenties when I had to shove an armload of glass items into one of my nephew’s arms, just half a second before my right knee collapsed and I went straight down to the floor. There are times when the joints in my hips will do the exact same thing to me, and it leaves me fearing that one day I will end up being left a candidate for hip replacement surgery. Not the funnest of prospective ideas.

It is made even less fun whenever I hear about things like the August 26, 2010 DePuy Orthopedics recall on the ASR XL Acetabular Hip System and the DePuy ASR Hip Resurfacing System both of which were used in hip replacement surgeries after July 2003. The Depuy recall was a voluntary recall issued by DePuy after problems were discovered with hip replacement patients requiring a second surgery within five years of their initial surgery.

The law offices of personal injury lawyers O’Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath, would like to invite you to contact them, information below, or to visit their website at the included link, and find out how they can assist you with your liability claim if you had hip surgery involving a DePuy product after July 2003.
