Okay, as a result of my moping about Writer's Digest having gone bi-monthly I went looking for sites online that have information on writing and just found Science Fiction and Fantasy Writing - a site that has a free course on writing by Jeffery A. Carver that had started out as a broadcast show to middle school classrooms as part of a distance learning program. It then saw life as a home study course through MathSoft, Inc before the rights reverted back to the fellow that developed and hosted it. He has redesigned it and released it online with the assistance of SFF.net (you know who they are I'm sure) as a free course.
I have not yet checked it out, but don't want to lose it so here it is for all of you as well. Enjoy while I go digging for more such sites. ;-)
