Designing on a Budget e-Book [paid ad]

Writers are, like any other artists, generally under paid and starving. So it is no wonder that our offices generally look like a rejected CDC experimentation room on the hazards of mixing Formica with laminate and crossing vinyl with leather. Add in a few cardboard boxes of unsorted files and a drawer or ten of odds and ends and I'm guessing you have most freelance writer's offices.

I suppose a large part of it is most of us are not exactly experts of design. Sure that bamboo desk set looked great in the store, but... does it really fit in with your office when you get it home?

If you have problems making things look right, but don't have a designer's budget, then you might look into a book like the e-book Designing on a Budget. This e-book reveals designer secrets for coordinating colors and patterns, matching up what you already have, and much much more. Priced at just $19.99 (as of this writing) it could be the best investment you make in designing your writer's office.
