I rented The Keeper of Time 5 days ago at Blockbuster for 99 cents and was trying to watch it earlier, but I have never had a harder time forcing myself to watch a fantasy movie. ::shaking head::
So far the movie's one redeeming point is Michael O'Hearn playing the part of the swordsman Bullrock. From what I have seen of it so far, the movie looks to me like the best reason for my watching it will be the affirmation that even if Shadowlord's Gambit reads like a Dungeons & Dragons game narration, it has a good chance of being published if they are making movies like The Keeper of Time as recently as 2004.
I've been avoiding having to finish watching it, I'd paused it a couple hours ago now, but I think I'll meander back in where the DVD player is and do some cleaning in that room so I can leave the movie on in the background. That would let me analyze it as a fantasy writer, without my actually having to sit back and focus on watching it.
