Plot Type: Abduction

Basic Synopsis: This plot has a lot in common with the deliverance plot, but in the abduction plot the abducted is in the possession of the abductor and must be saved from them by the guardian, usually through a daring rescue. The abducted does not necessarily have to be the victim of a kidnapping, the abductor may have accidentally ended up with the abducted through events such as the theft of a vehicle or the abducted may even have gone with the abductor willingly not knowing they would require saving.
