Basic Synopsis: The daring enterprise plot would be one in which the lead character is placed in a position, through preparations for war or as a rite of passage, to prove themselves. They may be seeking to obtain an object from an adversary or to win the favors of someone. A bold knight that undertakes the goal of battling his way through dangers to reach the princess trapped by the knight's adversary would be an example of the daring enterprise, as would a ship's captain that leads his men through dangerous territory in search of treasure belonging to another that is unwilling to part with it easily.
