Basic Synopsis: This is a scary type of plot because it examines what can happen when someone looses control and goes temporarily mad. This is usually a plot where something causes the unexpected madness and the victim is injured because of that madness. The madman normally feels a deep sense of regret and pain after realizing what they have done and usually will try to make amends or come to some kind of peace with the victim, seeking their forgiveness. Some factors that might be used to explain the temporary madness include drugs and/or alcohol.
