I was just browsing around and realized that I missed the announcement on the 2008 Edgar Alan Poe Awards by the Mystery Writers of America. You can find the Edgar awards list, which was released on May 1st, here: 2008 Edgar Winners
Congratulations to all of the winners, particularly to Tana French who won Best First Novel by an American Author for In the Woods, and to John Hart who was awarded Best Novel for Down River.
