Audio books

I never have time to read anymore, so I have discovered that buying audio books is the best way to keep up with my reading and still be able to get things done during the day.

This also comes in very handy in situations such as the optometrist appointment I took my dad to yesterday. I was able to kick back and listen to my audio book while we waited for the eye doc to see my dad. Really need to get an audio player for my dad as well, so he can listen to stuff like that when we're waiting hours on end at those places.

And I have to admit, the book I was listening to was a Doctor Who book read by David Tennant and listening to that man's sexy voice read a book to me is well worth stopping other things I might have done to listen to his oh so nice voice. Between Tennant reading Doctor Who books and John Barrowman reading Torchwood audio books I could be quite happy just listening to books for a very very long time.

Wonder if them two might consider reading some high fantasy novels. ::big wide eager grin:: I'd buy them!
