Basic Synopsis: The unfortunate is in danger and can not protect themselves from the threatener. Enter the rescuer who harries the threatener in an effort to save the unfortunate from the threatener. The climax of the story may be a battle between the rescuer and threatener, or it may be a point of extreme change for the unfortunate where they must face the threatener without the safety of the rescuer standing between the unfortunate and the danger of the threatener.
